Famous celebrity stylist who has styled many Hollywood A-listers including Bella Hadid, Ariana Grande, Priyanka Chopra, Tom Holland, Céline Dion, Anya Taylor-Joy, and Kerry Washington, among others, shocked everyone when she announced her retirement at the age of 44. Roach announced the news on Instagram.
“My Cup is empty….. thank you to everyone who has supported me and my career over the years. “I’m so grateful to everyone who trusted me with their image,” Roach wrote, alongside an image of a red sign that read “Retired.”
“If this business was just about the clothes, I would do it for the rest of my life,” Roach continued, implying what may have prompted him to make such a drastic decision. Politics, lies, and false narratives finally got to me! You win… I’m out”.
Law, an African-American stylist, has been named one of “Hollywood’s Most Powerful Stylists in 2021” by The Hollywood Reporter. He was also awarded the prestigious CFDA’s inaugural Stylist Award in 2022. Roach called the achievement a “ultimate complement” in an interview with Vogue. Roach has been a celebrity stylist since 2009, when he began working for Ye, formerly known as Kanye West. He is also well-known for his long-term relationship with actress Zendaya.
